Javier Plazas

Javier Plazas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and insurance sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Owner and Platform BA Lead at Solera, Inc. since August 2016, Javier is the primary point of contact and domain expert for platform-related topics, focusing on product requirements elicitation in collaboration with stakeholders. Prior to this, Javier worked as a Project Manager at Altran - Mapfre DGTP, overseeing data migration projects, and held a Senior Consultant position at Matchmind, focusing on the insurance market. Earlier in the career, Javier accumulated significant expertise as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant at Atos, implementing software solutions in Colombia, and as the Informatic Area Director at Federacion de Aseguradores Colombianos Fasecolda, managing infrastructure and software projects. Javier earned a degree in Ingeniería informática from Universidad de Los Andes, complemented by foundational education at Colegio Calasanz Bogotá.
