Marcel Duran has extensive experience in product management and IT, currently serving as Director of Product Management at Solera, Inc. since November 2009, with a focus on the Qapter Claims platform utilized globally in the automotive insurance sector. Previous roles at Solera include Senior Manager and CEE Product Manager, overseeing product strategies and teams across multiple regions including Central and Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific. Prior to Solera, Marcel held various IT positions at OMV Petrom, supporting Oracle systems and managing infrastructure. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești, completed in 2009.
