Sumant Kakaria is the Founder and CEO of Solethreads, a company focused on disrupting the Casual Footwear industry and promoting a fashion revolution for youth since November 2019. Prior to this role, Sumant served as Business Head for Ecommerce at Marico Limited, overseeing the digital business and mentoring startups through the Marico Innovation Foundation. At Philips India, Sumant transformed the Ecommerce sector across all business verticals within the Indian market. Additional experience includes co-founding Aura International, a design and manufacturing company in open footwear, and holding key positions at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., Asian Paints Ltd., and Zee Telefilms Ltd. Sumant's educational background includes an MBA in Sales and Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and an ongoing Executive Program in Marketing and Analytics for Ecommerce at the Indian School of Business.
