Wim Decorte

Wim Decorte is the current Director of Claris Practice at Soliant Consulting. Prior to this, they were Team Lead & Project Manager, Systems at HSBC Bermuda from March 2009 to November 2011. In this role, they led the bank's Rapid Application Development team as part of the Business Transformation / Change Delivery effort. The team consisted of 3 developers and one business analyst. They developed bridge-gap solutions until it made sense economically to adopt the HSBC group systems.

From January 1994 to December 2000, Decorte was IT & Ops Manager (at Sky Service) at Abelag. In this role, they developed a comprehensive software package to deal with charter flights sales and the back-office flight operations scheduling (pilots, aircraft, maintenance).

Decorte has also served as Economics Advisor at Fabrimetal Oost & West-Vlaanderen from January 1992 to December 1995 and as Sergeant in the Belgian Army from January 1991 to January 1992.

Wim Decorte has a Master of Economics from the University of Antwerp. Wim also did an exchange program with Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Wim is certified as a FileMaker 18 Certified Developer, FileMaker 17 Certified Developer, FileMaker 16 Certified Developer, and FileMaker 15 Certified Developer from Pearson VUE. Wim is also certified as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
