Joon Chung

Joon Chung is an accomplished leader in the technology sector, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at SOLiD since May 2021 and as CEO and Chairman of the Board at SOLiD, Inc. since November 1998. In addition to these roles, Joon Chung has been a member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea since January 2014 and was recognized as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum from 2002 to 2004. Joon Chung also gained technical experience as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at KT from 1994 to 1998 and as a Visiting Researcher at Hitachi in 1993-1994. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University. Currently, Joon Chung is pursuing additional education at the National University of Singapore since 2018.
