Michael Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael started their career at LG Electronics as an Engineer, where they worked on developing WLAN and WLL modems. Michael then joined Altera, where they held various roles, including Senior Product Field Application Engineer and Korea FAE Manager, covering the AP region for wireless applications.

Lee later moved to SOLiD, Inc, where they served as the New Business Development Team Leader, focusing on developing new business opportunities for the company. Michael also played a key role in launching SOLiDKids, a brand focused on creativity-enhancing curriculum for kindergartens using digital pen technology.

Lee further expanded their expertise in the digital pen industry by working at PenGenerations, a joint venture of SOLiD, T-Study, and Anoto. Michael served as an Auditor and also contributed to business planning and product development.

Additionally, Lee took on the position of Independent Director at Uniquest from 2011 to 2014.

In 2013, Lee co-founded SOLiD Edu, a spin-off company of SOLiD, aiming to expand the digital pen business. As the CEO, they oversaw the development of various educational platforms, including digital pens, interactive whiteboards, and dot pattern-based publications. Michael successfully exported the IWB platform to Mongolia for multiple schools and made a significant contract with KyoWon, a major education company in Korea, for the supply of digital pens.

Michael Lee attended Seoul National University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering. Michael continued their education at the same university from 1992 to 1994 and obtained a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
