Brian Leising

Brian Leising currently serves as Sr. Director of Technical Quality at Solid Biosciences since June 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Opus Genetics, where initial CMC strategies and infrastructure were developed. Brian's experience includes a role as Director of Manufacturing QA at AveXis, overseeing quality functions for a gene therapy manufacturing facility, and as Director of Gene Therapy Clinical Manufacturing at Pfizer, responsible for operations and supply chain. Additionally, Brian has extensive experience in quality assurance and manufacturing management roles at Seqirus, Novartis Vaccines, Human Genome Sciences, Biogen, Apex Bioscience, and Rhone-Poulenc, progressively taking on greater responsibilities in various biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process development capacities. Brian earned a B.S. in Biology from Florida Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Biotechnology Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
