Matthew Harmelink

Matthew Harmelink is the Medical Director and Therapeutic Head of Neuromuscular at Solid Biosciences, where they are involved in clinical pediatric neuromuscular and neurogenetics work, serving as a primary investigator for research trials. Previously, Matthew held several positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin, including Chief and Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology. They also directed the child neurology residency program, focusing on training and academic support. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin, along with completing fellowships and residencies in pediatric and neuromuscular medicine.
