Derek Lauritzen

Derek Lauritzen has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 as a Design Assistant for the WIU Student Employment Office. In 2009, they were a Logo Designer for Sterling Schools Foundation and a Graphic Designer for Bella Vita Hair Design. In 2010, they joined Usman Group, Inc. as a Creative Director and Lead Designer, where they collaborated with management teams to analyze and establish scope of projects, conducted research, oversaw and led in the planning and design of website projects, and worked with front-end developers to ensure quality of work and functionality. In 2017, they joined Solid Digital as VP + Creative Director and Creative Director.

Derek Lauritzen graduated from Western Illinois University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications, Photographic Media, and Art.
