Liz Reed Hawk is a nonprofit communications professional with over three decades of experience in writing, editing, and design for diverse audiences. They served as Programs Coordinator at Literacy Source from 1992 to 1997, where they managed adult learning programs, and later held various roles at Solid Ground, including Communications Production Manager, where they oversaw the organization’s communications and branding efforts. As a writer/editor at The Hope Heart Institute from 1998 to 2000, Liz developed health education materials that received acclaim. They hold an EdM in Secondary English from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in English from Oberlin College. Currently, Liz continues to perform as a versatile singer and musician while fostering a commitment to anti-oppression and social justice.
