Mary Ruffin

Chair at Solid Ground

Mary Ruffin is the Vice Chair at Solid Ground. Mary has previous experience working as a Judicial Extern at the Washington State Supreme Court, a Hazelton Fellow at the University of Washington School of Law, the Western Regional Mock Trial Director for the National Black Law Students Association, a legal intern at Starbucks, and a summer associate at Foster Pepper PLLC. Ruffin is also a founding member of Stronger Together Community Coalition and a former Court Watch Intern at the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center. Mary began their career as a Homework Center Coordinator and Volunteer Tutor for Seattle Public Schools.

Mary Ruffin graduated from the University of Washington School of Law with a Doctor of Law degree. Mary also holds a BA in Political Science and Law, Societies and Justice from the University of Washington.
