Athena F. Richardson

Athena F. Richardson, M.A., PMP®, serves as the Business Operations Manager and Project Manager at Solid Light, Inc. since April 2022, overseeing project phases, managing client communications, and ensuring project alignment with client goals and budget. Previously, Athena was the Finance and Operations Manager for the Alabama African American Civil Rights Heritage Sites Consortium from January 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations, supporting executive leadership, and guiding the organization to attain independent 501(c)(3) status. Additional experience includes roles as Project Intern at Teach For America and Administrative Assistant at DCCA. Athena holds a Master of Arts in American Studies from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hood College.
