David Telep

David Telep has a diverse and extensive work experience in various technical roles. David is currently serving as the Senior Director of Process Engineering and Pilot Line at Solid Power, Inc. Since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Manager at the Department of Energy Kansas City National Security Campus Managed by Honeywell from 2014 onwards. From 2010 to 2014, Telep served as the Process R&D Manager at XALT Energy. David also worked as the R&D Director/Manufacturing Technology Director at Solamatrix (now Madico) in 2009. Telep's earlier experience includes roles such as the Technical Director at Esprix Technologies from 2007 to 2009, Senior Research Scientist/Operations Director at International Paper from 2005 to 2007, and Co-owner/Technical Director at DYANT, LLC from 2002 to 2005. David also worked as an R&D Manager: Core Technology at Rexam from 1998 to 2002 and as a Research Scientist at International Paper from 1988 to 1998.

David Telep obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Binghamton University between 1978 and 1983. David later pursued a Master's degree in Imaging Science, specializing in Chemical and Digital Imaging, from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they completed between 1986 and 1988.
