Rene Sotolongo

Rene Sotolongo, B.S., CSM, CEM, is the Senior Director of Global Environmental, Health, and Safety at Solid Power, where they lead the enterprise-wide EHS strategy for a next-generation battery technology company. With over 30 years of experience in the EHS field, they previously served as the Global Director of Field and Manufacturing EHS & Security at Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc., where they successfully secured significant regulatory approvals and drove compliance initiatives. Their past roles also include managing EHS operations at Panasonic Energy of North America and Eaton, where they implemented comprehensive safety programs and achieved notable compliance milestones. Rene holds a Bachelor of Science in Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management from Excelsior College.
