Rose Ruther

Rose Ruther is a Senior Scientist at Solid Power, Inc. since January 2019, specializing in lithium-ion battery materials. Previously, Ruther served as an R&D Staff Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where involvement in the Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing Group focused on developing next-generation battery chemistries. Ruther's earlier experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Scholar, with significant research in electrochemical energy storage and sustainable materials. A PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by a BA in Chemistry and Physics from New College of Florida, underscores Ruther's strong academic background and expertise in materials chemistry.
