John Bender

John Bender has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John joined Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. in 2014 as a Financial Advisor and was later promoted to Vice President. In 2017, they became a Board Director at Asignio. Prior to that, they served as a Board Director at Solid State Cooling Systems since 1994. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at E.K. Riley Investments, LLC as an Executive Vice President and Business Growth Officer. From 1998 to 2010, John held the position of Senior Vice President, Branch Manager and Financial Consultant at D.A. Davidson & Co. John started their career at Piper Jaffray in 1989, where they served as Vice President and Investment Executive until 1998.

John Bender obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from the University of Puget Sound in 1981. John also holds additional certifications including a Certified Wealth Strategist. John has obtained various Securities Licenses from the Financial Institution Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including licenses 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65, and 87.
