Welcome to SOLID, the community for the business of law.

SOLID is where legal leaders, operators, technologists, and innovators come together to think out loud, build real relationships, and move the profession forward.

For more than two decades, our work has focused on the intersection of legal technology, legal operations, eDiscovery, privacy, compliance, talent, and now AI. What’s changed is the clarity of our mission. We create spaces where honest conversation leads to better decisions, stronger careers, and smarter organizations.

SOLID exists to help you move from now to next, whether you are navigating rapid change, adopting new technology, rethinking how work gets done, or shaping the future of your team and career.

Our ecosystem includes:

SOLID Summit. Our flagship, invite-only gatherings where senior leaders share how work is actually getting done, not just what’s trending

SOLID Café. A weekly, off-the-record forum where leaders think out loud together and learn from peers

SOLID Dinner Series. Curated, small-group conversations designed for depth, trust, and real connection

Careers and the Business of Law Podcast with David Cowen. In-depth conversations with leaders shaping careers, companies, and the business of law

At SOLID, we believe careers aren’t linear. They are built through relationships, curiosity, and the courage to adapt. Our role is to bring the right people into the room, ask better questions, and create environments where learning travels back to the office.

If you care about how the business of law is changing and want to be part of shaping what comes next, you are in the right place.

Follow SOLID for thoughtful conversations, practical insight, and opportunities to connect with people who are building the future of legal work.
