Chris Westcott

Chris Westcott is an experienced political educator currently working at Solidaire since July 2020. Previously, Westcott served as Program Director at the School for International Training from May 2012 to July 2020 and held various roles at IHP/World Learning, including Program Manager for Human Rights and Climate Change Programs and Traveling Faculty for the IHP Cities in the 21st Century program. Westcott's early career includes positions as Outreach Specialist at Freelancers Union, Research Consultant at Urban Justice Center, and Project Coordinator at Columbia University's Community Fellowship Program. Westcott also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, supporting courses on human rights and peace education, and served as Management Director for ENGAGE. Educationally, Westcott holds a Master's degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Bates College.
