Alexa Netty

Alexa Netty currently serves as a Programme Quality, Accountability & Learning Officer and Finance Officer at the Disasters Emergency Committee, focusing on humanitarian appeals for Ukraine, Pakistan, and Turkey-Syria since April 2022. Additionally, Alexa holds the position of Trustee at the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants and works as an Associate Audit at Deloitte. As the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Recruitment and Team Management at SolidariTee since February 2019, Alexa has contributed significantly to the organization's mission. Previous experience includes co-organizing and managing the first TEDx event for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and serving as President of both the Centre for Global Equality Student Society and TEDxCambridgeUniversity. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Global Health from The University of Manchester and a BVetMed in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from the same institution.
