Anne Mahlum is an American entrepreneur, motivational speaker and business owner. In 2013, she created Solidcore, a boutique fitness company started in Washington D.C. that has over 70 studios and more than 600 employees in 16 states. First Lady Michelle Obama is one of her committed clients. She is also the founder of Back on My Feet, a non-profit organization that helps people experiencing homelessness with chapters around the United States.
In her spare time, Mahlum is a marathon runner who has completed marathons on all 7 continents. Her most recent marathon, in March 2019, in Antarctica allowed her to raise $102,927 for the New York chapter of Back on My Feet.
Mahlum has been honored many times for her leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. She was recognized in 2019 by the Washington Business Journal as one of the 'Women Who Mean Business' and was named both an 'ABC World News Person of the Week' and a '2009 CNN Hero'. She has given Tedx talks about finding your passion, letting go of your complacency and helping others.
