Erika Lewis is currently a Student Fellow at the Gibson Banks Center for Race and the Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and serves as Notes and Comments Editor for the Maryland Law Review. Legal experiences include a role as Legal Intern to the Chief Legal Officer at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development and a Judicial Internship with the Honorable Angela M. Eaves at the Supreme Court of Maryland. Previous roles include Senior Program Coordinator at Jhpiego and Program Associate for the Middle East and North Africa at the Center for International Private Enterprise. Erika also has a background in fitness coaching as a Pro Coach and Coach at [solidcore] and as a Group Fitness Instructor at Downtown Yoga & Barre. Academically, Erika is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Maryland after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations at McDaniel College.
