Kay Mattern

Kay Mattern is a Data Science Associate currently working at JPMorgan Chase on the Commerce Payments D&A team since September 2022. Previously, Kay served as a Data Science Analyst on the Focused Analytics Solutions Team. In addition to this role, Kay is a Senior Coach at [solidcore] since June 2023 and has experience as a Coach. Prior to these roles, Kay was a Data Science Sprint Lead at Forge, where responsibilities included designing interactive visualizations and organizing team meetings. Kay also held positions as a Data Science Sprint Coordinator and as a Data Analytics Strategy Intern at Comcast, where contributions included designing data models and strategies. Initial experience was gained as a Business Intern at SHINE Systems. Kay earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics (Econometrics) with a minor in Data Science from the University of Virginia from 2019 to 2022, following time at the University of Florida, and completed high school at Conestoga Senior High School, graduating in 2018.
