Shane McCarthy

Shane McCarthy currently serves as SVP of Digital Product & Marketing at [solidcore], a position held since 2023. In addition, Shane has been a Board Member for The Hope Foundation since 2016, where significant fundraising efforts for humanitarian work in Kolkata, India have been demonstrated. Shane has advised and invested in multiple start-ups since 2015, facilitating their growth and funding achievements. Prior experience includes a tenure as Chief Marketing Officer at Sandboxx from 2014 to 2023, leading diverse teams across marketing and product management, along with teaching roles at University College Cork. Earlier career positions include technology and software development roles in various organizations, contributing to system implementations and product development. Shane holds a BSc in Business Information Systems from University College Cork and completed a marketing growth series at Reforge Growth School.
