Yang Xia is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Solidec, where they currently lead innovative initiatives. They previously worked as a Process Engineer at PharmaBlock Sciences and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University. Additionally, Yang held roles at the DaringQ Foundation as a Junior Executive for Programming and at the Cellular and Molecular Cardiology Lab as a Laboratory Assistant. They earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, followed by a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University. Yang is also a Rice Innovation Fellow.
