Oscar Rickett

Oscar Rickett has a diverse work experience in the art and gaming industry. Oscar currently holds the position of Head of Art at SOLIDICON since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Technical Artist from January 2022 to February 2023 at the same company. Before joining SOLIDICON, they worked as a Lead Artist at Ablizmo from September 2018 to July 2021. Oscar'sprevious roles include Senior Artist at Frontier Developments from January 2017 to September 2018, Artist from February 2015 to January 2017, and Junior Artist from March 2014 to February 2015. Oscar also gained experience as a QA Tester at Microsoft from May 2013 to March 2014, and as a Junior Illustrator at Electronic Arts from May 2012 to December 2012. Additionally, they worked as a PAL Leader at Bournemouth University from January 2011 to January 2012, where they taught first-year students 3D techniques as part of the Peer Assisted Learning program.

Oscar Rickett attended Bournemouth University from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a BA(Hons) degree in Computer Animation Arts. In February 2023, they obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org.
