Andy Idema is a seasoned software engineering professional with a diverse background in managing and leading software development teams. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Solidigm since January 2021, Andy oversees the delivery of customized SSD firmware and is focused on enhancing enterprise-level web software processes. Previously, as the Head of Software Engineering at BDS Analytics, Andy successfully transitioned the company’s platform to the Azure cloud and improved development operations. In prior roles at Seagate Technology and USDA, Andy led significant projects that transformed business processes and received recognition for exceptional application delivery. Andy's early career began at Accenture, where project management and consulting were key responsibilities. Andy is pursuing a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Penn State University, having previously earned a BA from the University of Michigan.
