Dan McLeran is a seasoned Principal Engineer with extensive experience in SSD firmware architecture and development. Currently at Solidigm since December 2021, Dan leads a team focused on developing PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 SSDs. Prior to this role, Dan spent nearly nine years at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included firmware architecture for SSD programs and collaborative work on computational storage. Dan began the career at Seagate Technology, contributing to firmware development for the Seagate Storage Hybrid product, and also gained experience as a Process Engineer at Motorola Mobility. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
