James Tacata

James Tacata is a Test Engineer with extensive experience in NAND, 3DXP, NOR, and DRAM memory devices. They began their career at Intel, where they held various roles from Product Engineer to Section Manager in Post Silicon Validation, supervising teams and managing budgets. From 2015 to 2021, James served as a Senior Test Engineer Lead and later a Test Engineering Section Manager at Micron Technology, where they developed backend test programs and new methodologies. In 2023, they became the Director of Product Development Engineering at SK hynix America and are currently an Engineering Manager at Solidigm, starting in 2025. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
