Moran Shi is an experienced firmware development engineer with a strong background in high-performance SSD technology. Currently serving as an SSD Firmware Development Engineer at Solidigm since November 2024, Moran previously worked at Memblaze from July 2023 to October 2024, focusing on firmware development for high-performance SSDs utilizing advanced technologies. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff and Senior Firmware Engineer at Marvell Technology from January 2017 to April 2020, where the development of SSD controllers for PCIe 4.0 and NVMe 1 was emphasized. Starting as Junior Firmware Engineer at Goke Microelectronics from January 2015 to December 2016, contributions were made toward enterprise-level SSD controllers.
