Tim Gross

Firmware Developer

Tim Gross is a seasoned firmware developer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently, Tim serves as a Firmware Developer at Solidigm since December 2021, and has been a Firmware Engineer at Intel Corporation since January 2016, focusing on SSD firmware for the 3D XPoint product line. Previous roles include ASIC Firmware Architect at Emulex from September 2012 to December 2015, where Tim architected new features for the Skyhawk networking ASIC, and Firmware Architect at Hewlett-Packard from 2000 to 2012, responsible for architectural decisions and improvements in embedded software for networking products. Tim holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, and an additional Master of Science in Math/Statistics from the University of California, Davis, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from California State University, Chico.
