Tony Chu is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product and application engineering, particularly within the SSD industry. Currently serving as a Product and Application Engineer at Solidigm since May 2017, Tony specializes in enterprise SSD failure analysis, technical support, and developing compliance tests. Prior to this, experience includes roles as a Field Application Engineer at SK hynix America Inc. and an Application Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor, focusing on customer engagement, failure analysis, and post-silicon bring-up of SerDes PHY IPs. Tony began a career in hardware validation as a Hardware Validation Engineer at Supermicro, where responsibilities included power and signal integrity testing. Tony holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Tamkang University.
