Jacob Ames is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and technical product management. Currently serving as a Content Evangelist at SolidProfessor since November 2023, Jacob is dedicated to delivering high-quality educational resources for the engineering sector. Prior to this role, Jacob held various positions at Hawk Ridge Systems from January 2016 to November 2023, progressing from Applications Engineer to Technical Product Manager for documentation tools, where responsibilities included managing SOLIDWORKS products and supporting sales and engineering teams. Jacob also gained experience as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Algae Systems, LLC, and has a solid foundation in research and technical documentation from internships at prestigious organizations such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Martin's University.
