Miles Benson is a seasoned consultant and digital design engineer with extensive experience in hardware engineering and HDL design for telecommunications and satellite communications systems. Currently serving as a consultant at MIT Lincoln Laboratory since February 2009, Miles has also held a digital design engineer position at Solidus Technical Solutions since 2009 and was a principal hardware engineer at NextPoint Networks, Inc. from 2006 to 2008. Miles has a rich history in the field, having worked as a principal hardware engineer at Top Layer Networks, 3Com, Chipcom, and Digital Equipment Corporation, contributing to significant projects over a career spanning several decades. Miles holds a Masters of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a graduate of Milford High School.
