Deacon James began their career in 2003 as a Web Developer at EMSI. Deacon then moved up to become the Data Department Manager, Vice President of Data Products, and eventually the Chief Technology Officer. In 2018, they joined R-Squared Global as a Project Manager and in 2020, they co-founded EiDO and also began working as a Customer Success Manager at Solink. Finally, in 2016, they founded Data Tactical Group, a private consultancy focused on software product development, executive coaching, and labor market data.
Deacon James attended Hillsdale College from 1998 to 1999, and then received a B.A. in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from Washington State University between 1999 and 2003.
