Kelsey Brown CMP has held various roles in the events and marketing industry since 2012. Kelsey began their career as an Event Planner (Contract) for the Canadian Council of the Blind in 2012, followed by an Office Assistant (Contract) role at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. In 2013, they held positions as an Event Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association, an Administrative Assistant at Santé Chiropractic and Wellness Centre, and a Database Coordinator (Contract) at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation. Kelsey also held an Administrative/Event Assistant (Contract) role at The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada. From 2015 to 2019, Kelsey worked at the Edmonton Convention Centre as a Client Services Manager, Client Service Specialist, and Sales Coordinator. In 2019, they began working at Solink as a Marketing Programs Lead and Event/Marketing Generalist, where they were responsible for Solink's webinar initiative, planning and executing multiple marketing campaigns, and overseeing a HubSpot database clean up project. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they maintained a pulse on the event industry to stay on top of trends, advancements, and guidelines. In 2019, Kelsey also took on the role of Community Events Coordinator at the Military Family Resource Centre - National Capital Region.

Kelsey Brown obtained an Ontario College Diploma in Business Marketing from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2009 to 2011. Kelsey then went on to complete the Event Mangement Graduate Program at the same institution from 2011 to 2012. In August 2019, Kelsey Brown was awarded the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council.
