Nicolas Perez has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Private Tutor in 2016. Nicolas then took on a Teaching Assistant role at Carleton University in 2017, followed by a Junior Software Developer role at CENX. In 2018, they were a Summer Student at March Networks and in 2019, they were a Software Developer at JSI Telecom and a Part Time Researcher at Carleton University. In 2021, they were a Drone Algorithm Design at Ericsson and is currently a Data Integration Engineer at Solink. During their time at Carleton University, they designed and analyzed efficient algorithms for securing quantum data and published a paper in the Journal of the ACM. Nicolas also studied the effect of using 5G to improve autonomous drone control and developed an AI algorithm for playing multiplayer turn-based games, which was published in AI 2019: Advances in Artificial Intelligence.
Nicolas Perez completed a Bachelor of Computer Science Honours, Algorithms from Carleton University in 2019. Nicolas began their studies in 2014 and graduated in 2019. Nicolas is currently enrolled in a Master of Computer Science program at Carleton University, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022.
