Ilene Fowler

Ilene Fowler has extensive experience in project management and IT roles. Ilene is currently working at CFC Underwriting, Ltd. as a Sr. Incident Response Manager/Project Manager. Ilene also holds a similar position at Solis. Prior to their current roles, Ilene worked at Whole Foods Market as a Sr. IT Project Manager from 2018 to 2021. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at BorrowersFirst, Inc. as an IT Product Oracle/Project Manager, where they collaborated with various teams to ensure business requirements were met and worked closely with developers during the development process. Before that, Ilene worked at Compass Learning (now Edgenuity Inc.) from 2000 to 2014, initially as a Classroom Teacher and then as a Senior Program Manager, Project Manager/Program Manager, and in an ETeacher role. During their time at Compass Learning, they successfully converted the project team development process from Waterfall to Agile/Kanban and led multimillion-dollar educational software projects. Ilene began their career in education as a Classroom Teacher at Broward County Public Schools from 1998 to 2000.

Ilene Fowler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Florida Atlantic University, which they attended from 1990 to 1996.
