Joe S. has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber incident response and coordination. Joe is currently working at Solis as a Cyber Incident Response Coordinator, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at CFC starting in September 2022.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Joe worked at the National Crime Agency (NCA) from 2019 to 2022. At the NCA, they held multiple roles including Triage, Incident Coordination and Tasking Officer, where they managed the initial response to cyber incidents and collaborated with internal and external partners for a comprehensive law enforcement response. Joe also served as a Cyber Exercising Officer, leading the design and delivery of cyber incident response exercises for multiple stakeholders and implementing cross-agency recommendations from exercises and debriefs. Additionally, they worked as a Capability Development Intern, focusing on developing capabilities for detecting, investigating, and disrupting hostile actions against the UK and its interests.

Joe S. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University from 2014 to 2017. Joe then pursued their Master of Science degree in Nutrition in Practice at the same university from 2017 to 2019.
