Matthew Perry

Matthew Perry has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matthew started their career as a Field Engineer at Navigate Energy Services in 2011. Matthew then moved on to National Oilwell Varco, where they held various roles, including Drilling Optimization Engineer and Field Service Supervisor. At NOV, they demonstrated exceptional product knowledge and provided customer support. In 2016, they became a Sales Manager at H & H Skylight Fabricators, where they successfully established the company in the Central Texas area. Matthew then transitioned to Austin Commercial as a Project Engineer, where they played a key role in project management and client engagement. In 2018, they worked as a SOC analyst at Wapack Labs, specializing in network security. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Communications Lead at CSNP, and from 2020 to 2022, they worked as a VR/AR QA Engineer at Meta. Most recently, Matthew held the position of Security Analyst at The SCE Group from 2022 to 2023 and is currently working as a Security Analyst at Solis.

Matthew Perry attended Texas State University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Technology. In 2018 to 2019, they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Tech - Cyber Security Specialization from Austin Community College.

In terms of additional certifications, Matthew obtained the NSE 1 - The Threat Landscape certification from Fortinet in October 2018. Matthew also acquired the CompTIA PenTest+ ce Certification from CompTIA in August 2022.
