Jonathan Holden

Jonathan Holden has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. Jonathan began their career in 2000 as an Internal Audit Supervisor for Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. In 2004, they joined KPMG as a Manager of Risk Advisory Services. In 2006, they moved to Marsh as General Manager of Operations, where they concurrently held the position of Executive Director of Marsh Botswana and Regional Controller for all Africa Operations. In 2010, they became Executive Head of Operations at Lion of Africa Insurance, where they restructured Reinsurance treaties to improve cessions and commissions. In 2013, they joined Innovation Group (Pty) Ltd as Group Executive of Operations and Managing Executive of Insurance, Innovate & Africa. In 2017, they became an Executive Consultant for Change in Mindset (Pty) Limited, consulting to various businesses and co-creating innovative solutions. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer of SOLmate, enjoying the challenge of managing the finance and operations of the Fintech player and working on the latest addition to the group, SOLshop.

Jonathan Holden began their education in 1989, when they obtained their Matric from St. John's College in Johannesburg. Jonathan then attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Finance & Economics between 1994 and 1998. Jonathan then went on to pursue an ACCA (part qualified) in Accounting and Finance from 2000 to 2004. In 2009 and 2010, they obtained a PMD (GIBS) from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in Business Administration and Management, General. More recently, in December 2021, they obtained a COB Certificate - Class 5 ST and LT Deposits and a COB Certificate - Generic Module from Growth in Motion.
