Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson currently serves as the Global Director of Demand Supply Chain and Procurement at Solmax, where responsibilities include S&OP implementation for the AMS and EMEA regions and oversight of global purchasing strategy and savings reporting since January 2019. Previously, Brian held the position of Commodity Manager at Graphic Packaging International, focused on pulp chemicals procurement and TCO evaluation, and served as Site Director and VP Demand Supply Chain and Purchasing at Fibrant, where Brian managed all business functions and led operations for a $600 million revenue enterprise. Brian's extensive experience at DSM Pharmaceutical Products involved leadership in Demand Supply Chain and Purchasing functions, with previous roles encompassing both management and engineering tasks. Brian's career began at Milliken & Company as Sr. Production Manager and Process Engineer. Brian holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Augusta University.
