Nicolas Laidié

Nicolas Laidié has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Nicolas started their career at Direction Régionale de l'Environnement de Lorraine, where they served as Chargé de Mission aux relations internationales - Délégation de Bassin Rhin-Meuse from October 2001 to August 2004. Nicolas then joined Direction Départementale de l'Equipement de la Moselle as Chef des subdivisions territoriales de Thionville / Chief Executive of Thionville area from September 2004 to November 2006.

In 2006, Nicolas joined DuPont as a Global Technical Marketing Specialist until December 2016. After that, they worked at TenCate Geosynthetics EMEA, initially as Marketing Manager EMEA from January 2017 to September 2018. Nicolas then became the Segment Leader Nonwovens EMEA from September 2018 to September 2019 and later became the Director Business Segment EMEA - Nonwovens Geotextiles from September 2019 to January 2022.

Currently, Nicolas is working at Solmax as Sales Director EMEA - Civil Infrastructure since January 2022. Nicolas will transition to the role of Sales Director EMEA in January 2023. Overall, Nicolas Laidié has gained extensive experience in various managerial and technical positions, primarily in the fields of sales and marketing.

Nicolas Laidié began their education in 1995 at Lycée Marcelin Berthelot, where they completed the Classe Préparatoire aux grandes écoles (Math Sup et Math Spé PCSI) program. During this period, they studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English.

In 1998, Nicolas attended Ecole nationale des Travaux publics de l'Etat for a period of three years, until 2001. At this institution, they pursued an Engineer's Degree with a focus on Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Building Engineering, Management, and Town Planning.

Concurrently, from 2000 to 2001, Nicolas also studied at Ecole nationale du Génie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement de Strasbourg. During this time, they completed the third year of a scholarship program, taking relevant courses and exams related to Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology.

Furthermore, in 2000-2001, Nicolas attended Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg I), where they earned a DEA - Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies in Geography & Ecology.
