Yang Kok Wei

Yang Kok Wei is a highly experienced professional with a background in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Solmax since June 2021, Yang oversees the Operations Division, focusing on enhancing operational performance and optimizing manufacturing costs. Prior to this role, Yang held multiple positions at TenCate Geosynthetics Asia from January 2013 to May 2021, including Operations Manager and Production Manager, building on a foundation that began with a role as Project Engineer at Honeywell Process Solutions in 2012. Additional experience includes leadership in process engineering at Samsung Display and a brief tenure as a sales executive at Yik Bee Engineering Sdn Bhd. Yang holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka.
