Founded in 2019, SolMicroGrid was built with the understanding that Businesses are the heart of any community. When the lights go down at your customers' homes, it's essential to keep your business running, no matter the weather or circumstances. That's why SolMicroGrid has developed a microgrid system that works for your small restaurant or business.

What is a microgrid?

Microgrids are nothing new. Typically used in hospitals or public institutions, they have transformed the design of large-scale installations to provide efficient energy management and dependability. Through a combination of solar, natural gas generators, and on-site storage, microgrids can provide the reliability of continuous power even when there are local utility outages. They also offer clean, efficient, and economical energy.

What is EAAS? (Energy as a Service)

EAAS is a business model which allows our clients to have the benefits of a microgrid with little or no upfront cost. Simply put, you pay for the capital cost from a subscription with our company by sharing the savings form your sustainable microgrid system.

What makes us different?

Our team is our biggest strength and is one of the reasons we are different. Our combined experience and ability to think outside the box and keep the customer's best interest first is what sets us apart from the competition.

We cater our microgrids to maximize savings while offering a personal, customized concierge approach keeping our customers' need front and center.

We earn our customers' trust by walking before running. We do this by first completing a comprehensive system analysis in which we look at the whole picture. This consists of customer equipment, their past energy bills, their sustainability, and resilience objectives.

We know how to deal with job-site or location challenges and are nimble enough to pivot our approach if an obstacle arises. We want power to be assessable to everyone, not just the big guys.
