Alex Ly

Alex Ly has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Tutor for Foster Youth Services. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Oakley Marketing and Merchandising Agent for ThirdChannel. Alex then moved on to become a Packaging Systems Engineer for E. & J. Gallo Winery from 2014 to 2015. Alex then worked as a Cloud Solutions Engineer - SMB for Oracle from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they held three roles at Mesosphere, starting as an Inside Sales Engineer, then becoming a Field Sales Engineer, and finally a Senior Field Sales Engineer. Most recently, Alex Ly has been a Senior Solutions Architect - Cloud Platforms for Red Hat since 2019. Alex has also been a speaker and workshop practitioner at ServiceMeshCon22 EU and Istiocon22 US.

Alex Ly obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2015. In 2017, they obtained an Oracle - Cloud DevOps Certification from Oracle, as well as a Mesosphere DC/OS Certified Professional certification from Mesosphere, Inc.
