In 2003, they moved to Imago Scientific Instruments as a Senior Applications Microscopist. In 2007, they joined TomoTherapy Incorporated as a Design Quality Assurance Engineer. In 2011, they began working at Accuray (Formerly TomoTherapy) as a Senior Development Quality Assurance Engineer, where they analyzed and decomposed complicated software systems, facilitated in software design reviews, code reviews, testing, and audit software build processes. In 2013, they became a Senior QA Manager/Developer at StudyBlue. In 2015, they joined The Weather Company, an IBM Business as a Senior Software Engineer In Test. Lastly, in 2021, they began working at solo.io as a Senior Software Engineer In Test.
Muhammad Ali attended Madison Area Technical College from 2001 to 2003 and earned an A.A.S. in Electron Microscopy.
