Omar Hammami

Omar Hammami has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2015. In 2015, they were an Undergraduate Researcher for the Tsapatsis Group at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and an Intern at the Medical Device Center of the University of Minnesota, where they developed a novel lung biopsy device. In 2016, they were an Undergraduate Researcher for the Hu Group at the University of Minnesota, and a Peer Learning Consultant, where they tutored students in mathematics, chemistry, physics, computer science, and chemical engineering. In 2018, they were an Engineer at Aspen Technology. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Cloud Software Developer at IBM, and is currently a Software Engineer at solo.io.

Omar Hammami attended the University of Minnesota from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering.
