Sam Heilbron

Software Engineer at Solo.io

Sam Heilbron has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2012. Sam began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach, where they facilitated a 16-week randomized study investigating a new engineering-based social skills intervention in children with autism spectrum disorder. Sam was in charge of all software related challenges for the participants, working mostly with LEGO Mindstorms and WeDo software. In 2014, they joined iHomefinder, Inc. as a Technical Support Engineer. Sam then moved on to Imprivata as a Research And Discovery Intern in 2015, followed by Nanigans as a Software Engineer Intern in 2016. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer at Swirl Networks, followed by a Software Engineer role at InsightSquared in 2018. In 2019, they co-founded SweatBank, and most recently, they joined solo.io as a Software Engineer in 2020.

Sam Heilbron attended The Roxbury Latin School from 2008 to 2011, and then Tufts University from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Engineering.
