Shane O'Donnell

Shane O'Donnell began their professional career in 2010 as a Customer Support Representative for Call Management. In 2011, they took on an Analyst/QA role as an intern for Agencyport Software, and also became a Java Tutor at University College Cork in Ireland. In 2012, they joined Duck Creek Technologies (formerly Agencyport Software) as a Software Engineer, working on AgencyConnect, BookSmart and Turnstile projects. In 2018, they joined PlacePass as a Software Engineer, where they helped the startup grow new lines of business and partnerships. In 2020, Shane joined solo.io as a Team Lead, taking on a leadership role in the Gloo Platform team. Shane helped define and evolve the engineering processes and roadmap as the company grew through a series B and then series C round of funding, valuing the company at $1B. Shane was also responsible for onboarding new hires, as well as growing talent within the team to become the next generation of mentors and leaders at the company.

Shane O'Donnell attended University College Cork from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bsc in Business Information Systems. Prior to that, they attended Rochestown College from 2002 to 2008.
