Sara S.

Sara S. has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Sara began their career in 2001 as a Unix Systems Administrator at EA.com/Electronic Arts. Sara then worked as a Camera/Security Systems Engineer at Digital Security Systems from 2004-2006. After that, they worked as a Sr. Network/Systems Administrator at Sara Mestas Business Services from 2006-2015. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Network/Systems Engineer at ImmunoScience. From 2017-2019, they worked at Cisco as a Sr. InfoSec Architect/Subject Matter Expert and Sr. Security Engineer II, where they were responsible for providing security solutions in regards to Cisco's infrastructure security initiatives. Finally, they are currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of SolonTek Corporation.

Sara S. began their educational journey in 1999 when they attended Silicon Valley College and obtained a Vocational degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. Sara then attended Western Career College (Formerly Silicon Valley College) from 2000 to 2001, where they obtained a Network Technician degree in Information Technology. In 2002, Sara transferred to Austin Community College, where they completed their General Education. From 2009 to 2015, they attended California State University - East Bay and obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS Senior degree in Biochemistry. Most recently, Sara attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as A+ Certification from CompTIA in 2001, ISO/IEC 27001 Internal Auditor from PECB in 2016, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, CCNA Cyber Ops from Cisco in 2018, and CCNA Route & Switch from Cisco in 2017.
